Willow Creek in Sweetwater, Tennessee will be hosting their Grand Opening Gala Celebration on Saturday, June 17, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The theme of the evening will be “Flashback to the 50s, 60s and 70s.”

 

There will be a live DJ, dance and costume contests, games, children’s activities, live performances, food and more. “We are even going to have a ‘dunk the developer’ booth. Gee, I wonder who that’s going to be,” quipped Willow Creek developer, Jeff Darragh.

 There will be a special car show hosted by the Sweetwater Valley Cruisers during the event plus helicopter rides, bocce ball, and horseshoes. Attendees can partake of complimentary food and beverages from 5 to 7 p.m. with finger-licking barbecue topping the menu.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will also be held at the newly opened Willow Creek amenities center. The center will have a fulltime community concierge who will be filling the calendar with a variety of fun-filled events. Like Julie McCoy on the Love Boat, the event coordinator’s first priority will be to see that homeowners have a busy, happy time.

 The amenities center will be a favorite gathering place for Willow Creek homeowners. Here they can take advantage of such things as tennis courts, pool, a meeting room, card tables, fitness room and so much more.

 The Gala Celebration is open to homeowners, realtors, townspeople and anyone else interested in the community at Willow Creek. So bring your lawn chairs and your appetite for fun.

 “Willow Creek is really starting to develop its own personality as homeowners get settled in,” said Darragh. “This event will give others an opportunity to see what we have available here. Everyone should plan on having a really great time.”
