American Real Estate Group is a brand new business just outside the city limits of Tellico Plains on Highway 68. Broker and Owner, Kim Yearwood and her Team opened their doors early in September and are busy helping people buy and sell property. Her motto is “Going Above And Beyond For You” and she truly sees that as her goal.

 

Born and raised in Tellico Plains, Kim Yearwood knows this area and its history. As a Tellico Plains native, her family roots go back four generations. She wants you to feel like this is your home, too. She is quick to share information about this area, its history, and local destinations. 

Before opening her business, Kim says she was privileged to work with Rarity Communities, helping people achieve their dream of living in the uncommon beauty of East Tennessee. Today, with her own company, she has listings from many areas including those of the Three “Rarity” Locations, and is proud to be able to offer all types of properties to her clients.

 While American Real Estate Group is in Tellico Plains, they serve a much broader area. Kim has sold properties in Monroe, McMinn, Loudon, Blount and Knox Counties. She is accommodating to her buyers with whatever location they choose. Kim sees her “specialty” as introducing new comers to Southern hospitality and experiencing the true meaning of good neighbors, down to earth living and enjoying the unparalleled beauty of the region. In fact, Kim and her husband Bill live on a farm in Monroe County. Her childhood memories are filled with country life, a special part of growing up in Tellico Plains.

 She has a great team who has joined her at American Real Estate Group. One Sales Consultant worked with her at Rarity Bay and followed her to her new business. Team members hail not only from Tennessee but also from other states and have decided to call this area home. In fact, some of her former customers have come to work with her. Kim insists that her Team is “upbeat and accommodating.” She knows that buying and selling a home is a life changing decision, and she wants it to be a pleasant one for her customers.
