The model home and design center located in Vonore is built around a 2,400 square foot ranch that features 3 bedrooms, a study, 2 1⁄2 baths, and 1,000 square feet of added bonus space upstairs for future finishing. The model helps homebuyers design custom homes that blend system building with onsite construction. Numerous amenities are available for viewing such as flooring, lighting, siding, millwork, cabinetry, bath fixtures, and more.

“We’ve created a simple process where customers can design beautiful, efficient, and cost-effective homes in a creative atmosphere,” Hessick said.

The model home displays a fully decorated entry, kitchen, great room, dining, bedroom, and baths.  “We’ll also have a meeting room, offices, and space for amenities,” said Hessick, “The home features solid surface countertops, stainless appliances, and decorative moldings.”

 

The model home also utilizes educational tools to show the benefits of system building so homebuyers can familiarize themselves with the process.   

This model also serves as a design center. To facilitate the design process, BR2 has the in-house capability to create initial plans, renderings, and free estimates.  “It’s a one-stop-shop for gaining a complete understanding of plans, costing, and amenities,” said Hessick.

The capabilities of the design center reflect the professional backgrounds of the BR2 founding partners. All have solid construction, engineering and finance backgrounds.

Andy Paszek has a Finance degree from Miami (OH) University; an MBA from the University of Findlay; 16 years of finance experience with 8 years in commercial banking and 8 years in commercial equipment leasing.

Richard “Dick” Hessick Sr. brings with him a BS in structural engineering and has 20-plus years of sales and marketing of engineered products, most recently in engineered wood products for the modular building industry.

Richard “Rick” Hessick Jr. offers the firm a chemical engineering degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Central Michigan University.
