Wrap your bed in the same sumptuous linens you find at a five-star hotel or resort with bedding from Bella Sera Luxury Linens in Turkey Creek.
Created by the master weavers of Europe, Bella Sera carries some of the finest linens in the world.
“In Europe, they have different classifications in business,” said Eric Dixon, owner of Bella Sera. “In order to attain the classification of ‘master’, weavers have to reach a high level of expertise. These experts are held to certain standards and there are just a handful of them in the world.”

“Most luxury linens are Italian made, but there are some good French and German companies too,” said Dixon. “We have a nice mixture here. Some of our main lines include SFERRA Bros. and Matouk, both of which are Italian, SDH, a German/American company and Yves Delorme, which is made in France.”
All offer high-end bedding that is truly a work of art. Using only the highest quality materials and first quality fibers, you’ll love the seemingly endless array of colors, textures and styles available at Bella Sera Luxury Linens.
If you are looking for especially unique high-end bedding, ask Dixon about the Chez M’Lain line. Each heirloom worthy piece is hand embellished with embroidery, knit, crochet or needlework. This is one collection you truly need to experience in person.
Other sheet and bedding lines at Bella Sera include Pine Cone Hill, Cloud Nine, and Legna, the latter being their best selling line of sheets which is actually a wood fiber product.
Also at Bella Sera, you’ll find linen washes made especially for cleaning and preserving fine bedding. With names like The Laundress, SDH Linen Wash, Le Blanc and Pré de Provence, these unique products contain no bleaches, solvents, abrasives or other chemicals that will damage your favorite linens.
“Fine cotton percale is an heirloom product,” said Dixon, “if you care for it properly, it will last for generations. We not only sell bedding, but we also take time to teach our customers on how to care for it.
In addition to care instructions, Dixon and his staff will also educate you on the linen industry in general and what you should look for when shopping for bedding.
“Through advertising, people have learned certain buzzwords and catch phrases that may cause some confusion,” said Dixon. “Take ‘thread count’ for instance. That term can be very misleading. Instead, it is the quality of the fiber itself that is most important.”
“For instance, if you start with a low quality fiber but have a high thread count,” Dixon continued, “you’ll still have an inferior product. But on the other hand, you can start with a high quality fiber and a lower thread count, giving you something that’s really nice.”
The term ‘Egyptian’ cotton can also be ambiguous. Although some of the finest cotton in the world comes from the Nile flood basin in Egypt, not all Egyptian cotton is equal in quality.
“There are nine grades of cotton,” said Dixon. “All grades can be used and most mass market cottons are a mix of grades. There is very little of the highest grade cotton on the market and it mostly belongs to the European linen industry.”
It is obvious Dixon immerses himself in his business and his beautifully appointed store is a reflection of that. Sumptuous bedding ensembles adorn unique beds handcrafted by Brass Beds of Virginia. Shelves artfully arranged with soaps, linen sprays, rugs, towels and a beautiful collection of select pajamas and robes lend a generous yet uncluttered feel to the display area.
Dixon was inspired to open Bella Sera Luxury Linens because, “there was no one else doing fine linens in Knoxville.” He is aided by manager, Mary Coe, and sales assistants, Tricia Curry and Sally Cleveland.
